Chrome Additives

KROMOMAX 3 is an advanced unmatched modern High Speed Maintenance Hard Chrome Additive to give excellent, Smooth and Bright Hard Chromium deposits. KROMOMAX 3 is a New Generation, Etch Free, Fluoride Free easy to dose liquid product which gives excellent metal distribution.

Application

It gives High Cathode Efficiency of >27%. KROMOMAX 3 – Micro Crack Hard Chrome is suited for every hard chromium process, it produces Micro cracked deposits with minimum 1200 cracks per linear inch and Vickers Hardness between 1100 – 1250. Plated products and processed components using the KROMOMAX 3 are used in all types of engineering applications: Hydraulic Ram Rods, Linear Bearings, Pneumatic Rods, Gas Springs, Shock Absorbers, Shackle Pins, when the conditions demand a level of corrosion resistance beyond the normal performance of conventional bath.

CHROLEX 004 is an advanced unmatched modern maintenance additive to give excellent pleasing bluish Chromium deposits . It increases the hardness to scratch free deposits in Hard Chrome baths. CHROLEX 004 provides excellent Chrome efficiency and is etch free, has a high covering and throwing power which gives unmatched corrosion resistance. It also improves the current efficiency, brightness and hardness. The bath is highly active as it gives a very high cathode efficiency and hence produces excellent chrome coverage. CHROLEX 004 has a low consumption and also increases tolerance to impurities in the Chrome bath. It meets the latest requirements of Decorative and Hard Chrome and is easy to maintain. Specially recommended for automatic plating installations where automotive and motorcycle parts are to be plated. A marvelous product.

Operating Conditions

• Chrolex Chrome Salt 250 - 300 gm/lt.
• Chrolex Additive 004 0.4 - 0.5 ml/lt.
• Temperature 45 - 55^oC
• Consumption 50 -75 ML/KAH (without drag out losses)

 

Application

Chrome Blue is an optional additive to give extra bright and blue chrome deposits in chrome plating.

• Conc. 40-50 gm/100lts.

 

Application

Chrolex Brightener is a maintainance additive for high speed chrome plating specially recommended to improve the current efficiency, brightness and hardness. The bath is very highly active and hence produce excellent chrome coverage.

Application

Chrome Neutralizer is developed to neutralise the chrome solution which adheres to plated components and racks after chrome plating.

• Conc. 10 - 20 gms/lt.

 

MISTAFIX 30 is the modern generation non PFOS and PFT Free Mist Suppressant for Hard Chrome Plating processes. It fully complies to the worldwide regulations on PFOS. MISTAFIX 30 is highly efficient low foaming mist suppressant which significantly lowers the surface tension of the bath which leads to reduction in bubble size and energy

Application

The surface tension can be achieved below 30 Dyne/cm, the best in its class which substantially cut drag-out and solution loss

Application

Minimist is a powdered additive which suppresses completely the mist or fumes evolved during decorative chrome plating process. Minimist produces a thin blanket on the surface of the chrome plating solution thereby preventing the harmful acidic mist into the plating shop environment. Minimist reduces the surface tension of the operating bath solution which in turn facilitates the faster drainage and hence drag-out losses are reduced.Also available in liquid as MINIMIST L.
